The ceremony

After the long wait of the pandemic years, the class finally gathered in person — balloons at the Law School brunch, banners over the Yard, and a sea of black gowns and crimson hoods on the grass. We walked from the gates of Harvard Yard to the steps of Widener Library, and Jocelyn crossed the stage with her little boy cheering from the family seats.
