Copa América

The Copa América was held in the US this summer, and some of the games were played at State Farm Stadium in Glendale. Johan and I had bought tickets early, hoping the USA and Brazil would face off in the quarterfinal.

That matchup never happened. The US did not reach the quarterfinals, and Brazil finished second in its group, leaving us with Colombia against Panama. Colombia had several stars with English Premier League experience, and we were curious to see them play in person.

Our seats gave us a clear view of the field. Colombia dominated and won 5–0. We saw James Rodríguez score and Luis Díaz take the field. It was a great game, and we had a blast.
